Setup Steps
Prerequisites
Before connecting Frate Returns, ensure you have:
- Zowie Inbox active and handling customer conversations
- Shopify store connected to your Zowie Workspace
- Frate Returns installed on your Shopify store (one app per store)
Connection Process
- Generate a Frate API key
- Log in to your Frate account
- Navigate to Settings → API Keys
- Create a new key for Zowie
- Copy the key (you'll need it in the next step)
- Connect to Zowie
- Log in to your Zowie Workspace
- Go to Integrations → Frate Returns
- Click "Connect"
- Provide integration details
- Integration name: Give this connection a name (e.g., "Main Shopify Store Returns")
- Frate API key: Paste the API key you generated
- Shopify store slug: Enter your Shopify store's subdomain (the part before .myshopify.com)
- Features: Select which capabilities you want enabled (process returns, cancel returns, flag for review, access admin panel)
- Activate
- Click "Connect" to complete setup
- Return requests will now appear in your Zowie Inbox sidebar
