Setup Steps

Prerequisites

Before connecting Frate Returns, ensure you have:

  • Zowie Inbox active and handling customer conversations
  • Shopify store connected to your Zowie Workspace
  • Frate Returns installed on your Shopify store (one app per store)

Connection Process

  1. Generate a Frate API key
  2. Log in to your Frate account
  3. Navigate to Settings → API Keys
  4. Create a new key for Zowie
  5. Copy the key (you'll need it in the next step)
  6. Connect to Zowie
  7. Log in to your Zowie Workspace
  8. Go to Integrations → Frate Returns
  9. Click "Connect"
  10. Provide integration details
  11. Integration name: Give this connection a name (e.g., "Main Shopify Store Returns")
  12. Frate API key: Paste the API key you generated
  13. Shopify store slug: Enter your Shopify store's subdomain (the part before .myshopify.com)
  14. Features: Select which capabilities you want enabled (process returns, cancel returns, flag for review, access admin panel)
