You get a heads-up when something changes under you. If a teammate saves while you have the flow open, the editor tells you straight away: this changed since you opened it, refresh to get the latest. You stop building on a version that is already out of date.
You see exactly what changed before you save. When your edits and a teammate's edits collide, a three-way view puts them side by side: what you changed, the version you started from, and the version that is now saved. You decide what to keep, with everything visible, before you commit. No guessing. No silent overwrite.

Not co-editing, on purpose
You will not watch a teammate's cursor glide across the screen the way you do in a shared doc. That was a decision, not a gap. In a document, the worst thing that happens when two people type at once is a clumsy sentence. A flow is not a document.
