Transfers now work in Staging
October 20, 2026

You can now test human handovers end to end before you publish.
Until now, a Staging conversation stopped at the point where it would reach a human agent, so you could only verify transfers once your changes were Live. That changes today. When a Staging conversation reaches a transfer, it goes to the destination you configured, Zowie Inbox or your connected help desk, exactly as it does in production.
Part of the move to the genAI architecture
This is one step in a larger migration from the legacy handover setup to the genAI architecture, where transfers run as part of the AI Agent’s own processes. Staging support means you can rebuild each handover as a process, run it end to end, and confirm every route and queue before you retire the legacy configuration. That includes how a transfer behaves inside and outside your human agents’ working hours. Nothing changes for your customers until you publish.
